These were Adams favorite Ketogenic recipes!
NOTE: All of these need to be calculated by your dietician to determine the correct number of grams your child is allowed. Also see the list of recommended kitchen products you will need as the end of the article.
1.) Bacon Waffle Rollup (Perfect for school lunches)
This is a full meal with 2 bacon "sandwiches", "milk", jello and "cookie".
Ingredients:
Eggs
whipped cream
butter
bacon
cream cheese
jello light
Directions
Mix eggs and cook in a small (2 waffle) waffle iron - let cool
spread part of butter on top
spread all of cream cheese on top
add bacon and roll into 2 "sandwiches"
Make jello and put into small container
Take leftover butter and flatten between two sheets of waxed paper and flatten with a plate into a large butter cookie - freeze it. (Can add shavings of nuts)
Take whipped cream and add water to make like milk.
Equipment needed: a small waffle iron (not Belgium).
Now, parents can order really cool waffle irons that show the face of characters like
Mickey Mouse and Cinderella. How fun would that be for a kid!
2,) Waffles with Strawberries and Whipped cream
Ingredients:
Eggs
whipped cream
butter
strawberries
cream cheese
cinnamon
Directions
Mix eggs and cook in a small (2 waffle) waffle iron - let cool
spread part of butter on top
Top with whipped cream
Top with sliced strawberries on top
sprinkle cinnamon on top
Take leftover butter and flatten between two sheets of waxed paper and flatten with a plate into a large butter cookie - freeze it. (Can add shavings of nuts)

3.) Ketogenic cheesecake
This is what I used for Adams birthday cake!
Ingredients:
73g Whole Foods 365 Brand cream cheese
12g Egg (raw, mixed well)
4g 36% heavy cream
2g butter
2g canola oil
3 drops Vanilla Stevia
2 drops Chocolate Stevia
Topping: 30g fresh strawberries (diced)
Directions:
Grease a 4" remekin
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until sufficiently brown on top. Cool.
Add strawberries just before serving.
4.) Ketogenic brownies
Incredible Chocolate Ketogenic Brownies
This is a soft, cake-like brownie that is mildly sweet. After baking, cut brownies into 10 pieces which results in a final weight of 21gm each containing 100 Calories with 1gm carbohydrate and a 3:1 ratio. Ingredients
1gm baking Powder
3gm No Calorie Sweetener, granular
6gm Cocoa (unsweetened)
50gm Egg—raw, mixed well
14gm Chocolate, Unsweetened
17gm butter
16gm Coconut oil
34gm Flaxseed meal (whole ground flax seed)
45gm macadamia Nuts (dry roasted with salt)—ground
30gm Sour Cream
Directions
1. Melt the butter, Unsweetened Chocolate and coconut oil in a small pan (or microwave). Cool
for 2 minutes then stir in mixed egg.
2. Mix together dry ingredients.
3. Stir melted mixture into dry ingredients, then mix in sour cream until well blended.
4. Make a foil pan with a 12 inch piece of foil, fold foil in half (shortwise) then create a small
pan with approximately 1 inch sides.
5. Spread mixture into foil pan; you do not need to grease the foil pan.
6. Bake for 12-15 minutes in a preheated 325 degree oven
5.) Jello parfait (a great treat)
Make jello light
Layer jello and whipped cream (From dispenser) into a large parfait glass
Whipped cream, then jello, then whipped cream, then jello, then whipped cream!
