My son, Matthew, is 3 and has myoclonic(while asleep) and atonic seizures. This past week though he had a grand mal. I'm wondering how common alert bracelets are and if we should have him wear one. His seizures aren't everyday, more like once a week(at least what we're seeing). Any thoughts?

hi everyone!! my son aliasgar is facing with quick jerks on his right side.

he gets hurt on his right side of the forehead.they seem to mayoclonic seizures.he is on high dose of medications.

Hi everyone, with endless years of un answered questions I am hoping that someone here may have some sort of direction or answer that may help me out a little bit.

WOW! What a week, our little girl is 4 and had her first seizure on 3-14-11. She was perfectly fine at 7:30am and by 9:00am she started having seizures. We were completely blown away. By 11:30am she had had 4 seizures. All test came back good, the only logical explanation was "unknown seizures" , Epilepsy. Holding her in my arms for the first seizure that lasted for 12 mins, was more than I can handle. Knowing now that are not usually fatal, BUT at the time, you could not have told me that. I have never felt so helpless in my life.
